Updates...

So it's been a while and I apologize. Busyness seems to be self-perpetuating. ;)
Here's what has been going in in youth group since I posted last:
We have begun a study of what we believe and why we believe it. Our goal is that we can defend our faith with the knowledge we gain and that when we find ourselves in situations where not everyone is a Christian, we know what we know!
The 30-hour famine is coming up March 28th-29th. We will be trying to raise money for World Vision through this great fundraiser. Our goal is to raise $600!! Please keep this event in your prayers! If you would like to make a donation to World Vision, please contact the church office.
We are also gearing up for our spring concert SEIZE THE ROCK, featuring two premier Christian artists, Manafest and Fireflight. If you would like more information on these groups, visit their websites at www.manafest.ca and www.fireflightrock.com.

I have been the youth pastor here for 4 months and God has been really directing me to search His heart for the vision for the youth group. Please be praying that God makes His will clear and that I have the wisdom to walk confidently in the path He has chosen.
